Manhattan, KS  public accounting firm is seeking a CPA or CPA candidate who honestly desires an opportunity for a career in public accounting as an Auditor. We have a solid clientele and are looking to grow and expand.  Salary commensurate with experience (Range of 40-84K). Candidate must be willing to relocate to the Manhattan, KS area.  Assistance with relocation expenses to be considered.   

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, has a professional attitude and work ethic, proven analytical skills, ability to assume job responsibilities, detail oriented and a producer of consistently accurate work, with a strong desire to grow and succeed in public accounting, has good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-driven team environment, shows strong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

A successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree required; Masters Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• CPA eligible; desire to obtain certification is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and audit project management skills, including knowledge of GAAP, and GAAS rules, procedures and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
• Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and audit software.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
